one in Seffner, FL and one in Palmetto, FL.
Since 1927 we are a stable and conservative food manufacturing operation.
Our goal is to provide our clients with quality private-label food items while following all federal and 3rd party auditing body rules and regulations to produce safe quality food.
We're looking for a food mixing operator who can assist in the production of bulk liquid food items in large processors and the loading/unloading of liquid bulk ingredients.
Our facility bottles ambient items utilizing both wet and dry bulk ingredients.
While not working directly on batching operations, this job will require participation working on the food production line, loading/unloading tankers, and assisting in maintenance projects.
End-of-day cleaning tasks and prep work for the next day will also be required.
Responsibilities Include:
Accurate measuring of loaded raw ingredients into mixing apparatuses.
Ensuring your station is properly closed down and paperwork is completed.
Comprehending written and verbal instructions in English.
Sanitizing all equipment and utensils in accordance with good manufacturing practices and FDA guidelines.
Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Verify all ingredients meet quality standards of the company and are added by values prescribed on all recipes.
Operating a forklift for heavier ingredients.
Willing and able to lift over 50lbs on a consistent basis.
Loading and unloading tankers of liquid bulk products.
Climbing to the top of tankers to cut seals and retrieve samples.
Using basic tools to attach a detach pumps and hosing.
Pressure washing tote dunnage.
Workplace Note:
This position takes place mostly in non-climate controlled or outside settings.
